Steven Gerrard, was commentating on the game and criticised Zidane for leaving out Bale
Steven Gerrard the ex England and Liverpool player is now a TV analyst on Champions League nights and he had some fierece criticism for Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema during Madrid's 2-1 win over Bayern Munich in the semi-final first leg.
Gerrard was analysing the game with Rio Ferdinand and Frank Lampard. The three players were talking about Gareth Bale possibly leaving Madrid this summer after the Wales forward was yet again benched by Zinedine Zidane for a crucial Champions League game.
"He's bringing Benzema on before him and Benzema's offering zero, so that's another concern for him," said Gerrard.
Gerrard, Lampard and Ferdinand all believe Bale's departure from the Santiago Bernabeu is imminent.
