The Costa Rican international is still suffering from a knee problem and has been replaced by Luca Zidane in the squad

Real Madrid coach Santiago Solari has picked 20 players for the fifth match of the Champions League group stages. Madrid will face Roma at the Olimpico Stadium on Tuesday evening.

After losing 3-0 to Eibar, Los Blancos return to the safe haven of the Champions League this week. The biggest name missing from his squad list is Keylor Navas, who is still suffering from a knee issue, and he's replaced by Luca Zidane.

Navas has been the backup goalkeeper in LaLiga since the third set of fixtures but was a regular in the Champions League under Julen Lopetegui. However since Solari took over, Thibaut Courtois has started every important game.

The Costa Rican has played in 7 official matches this season: the UEFA Super Cup final, three Champions League fixtures, two in LaLiga and one Copa del Rey tie.

Real Madrid squad list for Roma:

Goalkeepers: Casilla, Courtois & Luca.

Defenders: Carvajal, Ramos, Varane, Marcelo & Javi Sánchez.

Midfielders: Kroos, Modric, Valverde, M. Llorente, Asensio, Isco & Ceballos.

Strikers: Benzema, Bale, Lucas Vázquez, Mariano & Vinicius Jr.
