Sergio Reguilon's problem is called Luca Zidane
The defender had an issue with the coach's son in their personal lives
Sergio Reguilon was one of the few positives Real Madrid fans had this season but the young defender’s future is at risk for reasons which are not related to his performances.
Per El Confidential, Reguilon knew his days were counted at Madrid once Zinedine Zidane returned to the bench. Under Solari he was used a lot and hit new highs, but now it’s hard for him.
When Zidane came back he started playing Marcelo. Not just because of the hierarchy in the squad, but because the same source says that Reguilon had a problem with goalkeeper Luca Zidane, the son of the coach, regarding their private lives.
With Zidane as coach Reguilon was relegate to the bench, just playing twice, while Ferland Mendy is poised to arrive at the club too.
With two players ahead of him, Reguilon may be forced out.
