Only the results of a second medical are stopping Real Madrid from making Ferland Mendy their third major signing of the summer. The defender has suffered a lot from injuries in the 12 months so Madrid are keen to make sure he's fully recovered from all of them.
Madrid will have a medical on Wednesday as Mendy is currently away on international duty with France.
The final medical will determine if he's fully fit afer his most recent hip injury. If the results are positive, Mendy will become the third major signing of the summer at Madrid after Jovic and Hazard. Rodrygo and Militao are the two other new arrivals who will join up for preseason training.
