Sergio Ramos: You can never take Real Madrid for dead

Sergio Ramos, Real Madrid captain, stuck out his chest after the win over PSG on Wednesday. The defender was pleased with the 3-1 UCL last 16 first leg triumph.

"This is a very important victory, these Champions League games are nights you always want to remember and we showed exactly how you need to play," Ramos said.

"We showed lots of personality and proved that despite all the speculation about us you can never presume Madrid are dead."

A ball struck Ramos' arm in the second half and PSG wanted a penalty but he said it was not on purpose.

"I have to see it on TV, it hit me on the chest but I didn't mean to get it," said Ramos.
