Sergio Ramos: We vindicated ourselves again
The Real Madrid captain was delighted to progress
Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos said on Tuesday, after helping his side past PSG, that the team are "happy with qualifying" although they have not "won anything" yet.
"Very happy, very happy with the work, with the great game we had," said Ramos. "It was a stage to vindicate ourselves again and we did it with a result and by showing our identity. Real Madrid recovers to the same state. Happy with qualification, but we haven't won anything yet.
"We were accurate and we did damage. High press, they left space on the wings and we took advantage. The game was intense, lots of effort was needed. After Verratti's red card we could control the game. The team did a great job."
