Sergio Ramos injury scare just a knock to the knee in the end

The defender was taken off on Sunday but the problem is not serious

Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos was taken off in the 60th minute of his side's win at Real Sociedad on Sunday with a knee problem.

However, tests have revealed that the injury is not serious and was just a knock. He could even return for Wednesday's game against Mallorca.

Madrid said: "We held the first training session of the week at Real Madrid City to prepare for the match against Mallorca, which will be played at the Alfredo Di Stéfano stadium on Wednesday (10pm CEST).

"The team worked under the strict health and safety rules of the protocol set by LaLiga due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

"The players who started against Real Sociedad, with the exception of Sergio Ramos, carried out some light jogging on the pitch. The rest began with rondos and possession and pressing exercises, while the goalkeepers worked with the goalkeeping coach separately.

Afterwards, everyone was divided into two groups to play a match on a small pitch. Hazard worked inside the facilities. Nacho, Lucas Vazquez, Isco and Jović worked individually on the pitch."
