Sergio Ramos has to jump through Real Madrid's hoop
The captain wants a two year contract renewal but he will only be granted one
Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos will not be allowed his two-year contract and must accept Madrid's plan to only offer him a one-year extension on his deal that ends in 2021.
AS say that Madrid are unwilling to give him the two years he wants, because he is 34 years old. If Ramos wants to retire at Madrid as he wants, he will have to take a year on year renewal until it's time to go.
If he agrees the one-year extension it would take him to 36 years old. The defender is starting to plan the end of his career and is considering America's MLS as a retreat if he doesn't agree with Madrid. He could sign for David Beckham's Inter Miami.
