Sergio Ramos received yet another sending off against Girona taking his total to 25 since he joined Real Madrid

Sergio Ramos picked up yet another red card for his collection at the weekend when he received his marching orders against Girona. The first yellow card came as he gave away the penalty, which Stuani converted, before he picked up the second for attempting an overhead kick. That was his 25th red card since he arrived at Madrid.

Ramos will miss the match against Levante in LaLiga but he's free to play in the Copa Clasico against Barcelona.

However suspensions aren't new to the central defender as he tops the charts for Madrid for sending offs. For example, Hierro only picked up 12 red cards. In LaLiga alone Ramos has seen red 20 times, topping Aguado and Pablo Alfaro who have 18. In the Champions League his 37 bookings and 3 red cards put him ahead of Scholes on 36.

Ramos has been sent off at least once in every season at Real Madrid except in 2014/15.

He'll also miss the next match in the Champions League and could yet be hit with an extended ban after admitting he picked up the booking on purpose.
