Madrid play Napoli in their second Champions League game in Italy on Tuesday

Real Madrid's stay in Naples suffered a scare on Monday night. An earthquake has affected parts of the city, even causing some people to take to the streets, alerted by a tremor in the ground.

According to Italian media reports, the epicentre of the quake was located in Los Campos Flégreos, a volcanic caldera nine kilometres north of the city.

The tremor has reached Naples and also Salerno, which is 50 kilometres south of the town where Real Madrid will play on Tuesday.

Light scale

The epicentre of the earthquake reportedly reached a magnitude of four on the Richter scale. This magnitude is considered light and can at most cause the movement of objects in rooms, generating noise. It is a significant earthquake but unlikely to cause damage.

Therefore, everything will remain a scare. Even in the centre of Naples, where there were Madrid fans, they did not even notice the incident.
