Maurizio Sarri will speak with Hazard and Courtois on Saturday to tell them neither will be allowed to leave the club this summer

New Chelsea coach, Maurizio Sarri, will have a meeting with his returning stars Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois this weekend. The Belgian pair will rejoin the group following their fine World Cup appearances where their country finished third. The Italian coach is set to speak with both players on Saturday to discuss their respective futures at the London club.

Courtois and Hazard have been linked with moves to Real Madrid this summer. Florentino Perez offered £35m for Courtois, a fee Chelsea feel is low despite the keeper only having 12 months to run on his existing deal. Hazard is another of their main objectives to offset the loss of Cristiano Ronaldo but Chelsea don't want the reputation as a 'selling club' and will ask the winger to stay on for at least another season.

However Courtois' contract situation could change the club's stance as they don't want to lose the goalkeeper for nothing next June. Perhaps the best option would be to find a replacement and accept Madrid's offer. At the moment Chelsea prefer to keep their cards close to their chest but with the transfer window closing in England next week, time is running out for them to find an adequate replacement.
