Jovic, like Brahim, picks up his second injury within the last two months bringing the total up to 14

Zinedine Zidane expected to be happier once the international break was over as Hazard, Rodrygo, Barhim and James were in contention to face Levante on Sunday. However the 'FIFA Virus' has struck again and Luka Jovic has returned to Madrid injured for the second time in two months.

The Serbian's latest injury brings the total up to 14 for Real Madrid this season. Jovic and Brahim have spent two spells on the sideline although the worst of them all belongs to Marco Asensio, who will miss the entire season. Mendy, Courtois, Mariano, Ramos, Rodrygo, Modric, Hazard, James and Isco are the others to suffer setbacks.

Diego Militao is the only one of Madrid's nine new signings who hasn't been injured yet. Hazard (3 matches), Mendy (6), Jovic (2), James (1) and Rodrygo (3) have all been in the treatment room. Although the Brazilian defender is yet to make his debut under Zidane as Varane and Ramos remain the preferred pairing.
