Real Madrid's Gareth Bale taken off injured against Villarreal
Isco came on for the Welshman at half-time after what looked like a hamstring injury
Gareth Bale was brought off at half-time in Real Madrid's 2-2 draw at Villarreal. Solari decided not to risk him after he evidently suffered a problem in the first half, said to be a hamstring injury. Isco came on for him.
Madrid missed Bale after the break as they had no players who could counter at speed. Bale appeared to be hurt in an attempt to control a high ball. There has been no medical statement yet from Madrid.
Los Blancos are seven points behind leaders Barcelona and sit fourth in La Liga.
