The right-back has come out in support of the out of favour midfielder

Dani Carvajal hopes the problems between Isco and Santiago Solari come to an end. He knows it would benefit the Real Madrid dressing room. For that reason, the right-back didn't hold back when asked to opine on the midfielder, who Solari left out of the squad against Roma this week.

"Isco is a mature player, he's been here for many years and I am sure that when the coach gives him a chance he will take it," Carvajal said.

"He is an important player for us. He's a player that adds many things. The decisions over whether he players or not are up to the manager, but I think he looks good, working hard, and I am sure he will end up being important."

The former Malaga midfielder has directly criticised various decisions taken by the Argentine coach, who replaced Julen Lopetegui last month. He's not yet started a game since than managerial change and watched the Roma game in the stands after an argument following the Eibar match.
