Bale admitted he is a lazy man

Gareth Bale spoke to El Pais and admitted he was lazy. These are some of the interesting parts of the Real Madrid winger's interview:

UCL final in Cardiff: "It's easy to say on one hand that I should have rested more. But when you've been injured three months and see your team-mates play, you really want to return and that's what I did. I had a lot of painkillers to be able to play, and now I think I should have given myself more time to recover. Then I could have come back playing much better and capable of all the things I could do with this pain the ankle. If I went back I would have taken more time to recover better."

Criticism: "It's all opinions. They have to sell newspapers one way or another and they have to write something. I'm used to people writing good things, bad things, I don't care too much."

Best virtue: "I don't know, I think that while I'm healthy and my family and friends are too and they are happy, I can't ask for more."

Biggest defect: "I'm quite lazy. That would probably be the best answer."
