Real Madrid turn attention to Liga clash with Espanyol
Julen Lopetegui called up B team players Dani Gomez, Dani Fernandez and Miguel Gutierrez
Real Madrid have started to prepare for the game against Espanyol in La Liga on Saturday, fresh from thrashing Roma 3-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu in the Champions League.
Julen Lopetegui will likely make some rotations, with Marco Asensio returning to the first team after being benched against Roma, while Mariano will be looking for his first start since re-joining the club. Alvaro Odriozola is also hoping to get a game for the firsttime for Madrid.
Madrid trained on Thursday with some rondos, possession exercises and then pressing work, before a game on a reduced size pitch.
On Friday they work again at 11am CET.
