Real Madrid supporters back Sergio Ramos after Sevilla abuse

At the Sanzhez Pizjuan on Sunday Sergio Ramos was jeered by Sevilla fans, who sung chants about him and held up degrading banners.

On Wednesday, coinciding with Real Madrid's Copa del Rey match against Celta Vigo, Los Blancos' fans offered their support to their club captain.

"God bless the mother that gave birth to you, Sergio," read a banner held up by the home support.

Despite the face Ramos came through at Sevilla, he clashed with them during Madrid's Copa del Rey game at the Sanchez Pizjuan last Thursday.

After scoring a penalty with a Panenka, Ramos riled the home supporters with his gestures.

Insults included "Caraponi" and "Hijo de puta" ["Horse face" and "Son of a bitch"] when he made his way off the coach and to the dressing room three days later for the league meeting between the two sides.

There were also banners such as 'SR4 Traitor' and 'This will never be your home' held up by the Sevilla fans.

It's for that reason that Madrid's supporters wanted to back Ramos on Wednesday.
