Real Madrid set their sights on RdT if Haaland does not come

The battle for Erling Haaland continues but Real Madrid know that he’s dangerously close to Manchester City. So they are looking for alternatives and one of the names, per AS, is Raul de Tomas.
The Espanyol striker has shown his talent and become one of the most lethal strikers in LaLiga and was called up by Luis Enrique to the Spain squad in the last international window.
Two days ago he said: “I am happy here. A thousand thinks can happen, but I have a contract with Espanyol and I will have to be here next season, evidently.” However a Madrid move could change the situation.
Arsenal were interested in him in the winter window but RDT decided to stay. He has a release clause of 70m euros but the deal could be done for 30-40m.
He left Real Madrid to sign for Benfica in 2019 but Real Madrid want to get rid of Jovic and Mariano so there is space for him to come back.
