Madrid have told MARCA they have no interest in signing Willian and remain in negotiations with Chelsea over the Belgian keeper

Real Madrid have told MARCA that they aren't interested in a double deal for Chelsea's Courtois and Willian. Throughout the day there has been speculation a €110m bid had been made by Madrid to sign the Chelsea pair.

Real Madrid don't want to sign the Brazilian winger Willian. The only Chelsea player they are interested in, aside from Courtois, is Eden Hazard. However the two sides are nowhere near each other's valuations when it comes to Hazard. Chelsea want somewhere between €170m and €200m and Florentino Perez is happier with a deal closer to €150m.

One player who is very close to signing for Real Madrid is Thibaut Courtois. The Belgian keeper will join the Champions League holders for a fee around €35m. The deal will be made official once Chelsea have lined up a replacement.

At the moment, Madrid's star signing to replace Cristiano Ronaldo in the side is proving very difficult. Real Madrid's new coach, Julen Lopetegui, believes Gareth Bale can perform on a regular basis and become the new leader in the team.
