Madrid have already made several signings so need bodies out before more come in

Real Madrid have been interested in Manchester United's Paul Pogba for a long time and it looks like the midfielder will finally end up in the Spanish capital. But there's always something that complicated everything.

This time, what's impeding Madrid signing the France star is the economy. Florentino Perez has done his numbers and they don't add up. He has to sell players before he can push through with a move for Pogba.

Madrid's numerous signings this summer mean they're obliged to sell to bring in money and to make space for the United man. They would be willing to spend up 150 million euros on the player signed from Juventus for 105 million euros in 2016.

Los Blancos have several players they want to sell to sign Pogba. Gareth Bale, Isco, Mariano and Keylor Navas are among them, while Lucas Vazquez and James Rodriguez are also expected to leave.

But it's a complicated situation for Perez: Bale has no interested in leaving, even though he knows he's not wanted; Isco also doesn't want to leave; Mariano could move to Arsenal but won't bring in much cash; and Navas does not seem in a rush to leave the Bernabeu.
