After recently turning 18, the former La Masia star is able to return to Europe and is attracting interest from a host of sides

Despite only recently turning 18, Takefusa Kubo is one of the biggest stars in Japanese football. Real Madrid are the latest side to throw their name into the hat alongside Manchester City, París Saint Germain and Barça, who want to bring the youngster back.

The attacking midfielder has been incredible for Tokyo FC this season and has been rewarded for that form by joining up with the national team for the Copa America. The 'Japanese Messi' could end up coming against the real thing if both sides progress.

Kubo's previous claim to fame was being one of the youngsters Barça were forced to release following FIFA's investigation to illegal transfers involving foreign children. According to 'Nikkan Sports', Real Madrid want to sign the budding star.

He's already outgrown the J-League and now dreams of making it in Europe. If Kubo makes his full debut for Japan during the Copa America, he'll be the second youngest to do so in his country's history.
