Real Madrid have not forgotten about Christian Eriksen

They are looking for a player who can add quality and take the team forward

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is still looking for a star to add quality to his squad. Real Madrid have Christian Eriksen on the agenda, a player who was linked while Zinedine Zidane was in charge and whom Barcelona wanted too.

The Danish international did well with his country at the World Cup which has pushed his value up further. The 26-year-old has a style of play that would fit Julen Lopetegui's idea perfectly.

His ability to make rapid transitions with the ball, his fine shot and goalscoring ability are details Madrid like. Eriksen is with Tottenham in the US playing friendly matches.

Madrid president Perez will have to negotiate with Daniel Levy, who did not want to sell Bale but ended up doing so thanks to Madrid's statospheric offer. Other Premier League sides and Barcelona are paying attention to Eriksen's situation.
