Real Madrid's Fede Valverde 'hits' Villarreal's Alex Baena

Real Madrid did not take the 3-2 defeat by Villarreal well. One of Carlo Ancelotti’s players is said to have attacked a Villarreal player, per various sources.

Cadena SER and El Chiringuito said that it was Fede Valverde, waiting by the busses, who hit Alex Baena, who was said to be on his phone.

Madrid sources told Cadena SER that it came from a jibe Baena aimed at Valverde durn the game about his son.

Valverde is said to have told Baena, before hitting him: “Tell me now what you said on the pitch about my son.”

The Uruguayan emulated something Jose Mourinho did in 2012 after Clasico at Camp Nou, where he waited for referee Teixeira Vitienes to attack him.
