Madrid release an official statement denying claims they have agreed a deal for Mbappe and say they've made no offer to the player or the club

Real Madrid have denied that they have an agreement in place to sign Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain. These reports are coming from the French media and is the second time in as many weeks that the Spanish giants have been forced to release a statement on potential transfer deals. The first of which was in relation to another Madrid target who plays at PSG: Neymar.

Here is the official statement from Real Madrid:

"Given the information published in the last few hours regarding an alleged agreement between Real Madrid C.F. and PSG for the player Kylian Mbappé, Real Madrid would like to state that it is completely false.

Real Madrid has not made any offer to PSG or the player and condemns the spreading of this type of information that has not been proven by the parties concerned."

In the last few weeks they've linked Mbappe with a move to Real Madrid. This was also the case last summer when the now-PSG striker was at Monaco. However, Florentino Perez didn't finalise the deal and PSG did, agreeing a loan deal with an option to buy the player outright the end of the last season.
