Real Madrid defender Nacho set to miss over two months
The defender suffered a knee injury against Club Brugge
Real Madrid defender Nacho Fernandez is set to miss up to two and a half months out after suffering a knee injury in the humiliating 2-2 draw with Club Brugge.
"Following tests carried out on Nacho Fernández by the Sanitas Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with an injury to his medial collateral ligament in his right knee. His recovery will continue to be assessed," said the club in a statement Wednesday.
It is bad news for Madrid with Ferland Mendy out injured too, although Marcelo returned, coming on for the Spaniard.
