Real Madrid confirm Santiago Solari as coach until 2021
The Argentine has a 100 per cent record from his four games in charge as interim
Santiago Solari has been officially appointed by Real Madrid as the club’s permanent coach until 2021.
The Argentine, 42, won four games out of four as interim manager after replacing Julen Lopetegui in charge two weeks ago.
“The board of directors of Real Madrid C.F., which met today, 13 November 2018, has agreed to appoint Santiago Solari as first-team coach until 30 June 2021,” said the club in a statement Tuesday.
“We are focussing on playing for our coach, we are prepared to die for him and we know that he is a great coach, we want him to continue,” said right back Alvaro Odriozola on Sunday after the 4-2 win at Celta Vigo.
