The first leg will be in Germany and the second leg in Madrid

Bayern Munich will meet Real Madrid in the Champions League semifinals, with the first leg played at the end of April (24th or 25th) and the second leg in May (1st of 2nd).

The draw took place in Nyon on Friday and threw up a tough tie for Los Blancos, who are looking to reach the final for the third time in as many years.

The first leg between Madrid and Bayern will be at the Allianz Arena. The second leg will be at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Roma, who knocked Barcelona out in midweek, will face Premier League side Liverpool in the other semifinal, with the first leg taking place at Anfield.

All four teams are looking for a place in the final at the NSC Olimpiyskyi Stadium in Kyiv, which will be played on May 26.

Madrid made the final four after knocking out Juventus with a controversial stoppage time penalty.

When the game looked set for extra-time, referee Michael Oliver awarded a more than doubtful penalty for a challenge form Benatia on Lucas Vazquez.
