Real Madrid add Tchouameni to their deep midfield options
The French midfielder is the long term Casemiro replacement at the Santiago Bernabeu
Real Madrid announced the signing of Aurelian Tchouameni from Monaco on Saturday, with the French international penning a six-year deal.
The Spanish side are paying a fee that could reach 100 million euros, in an 80 + 20 deal.
Tchouameni, 22, has been capped 11 times by his country and is the long-term defensive midfield replacement for Casemiro.
The midfielder scored three goals and gave two assists for Monaco last season in 35 Ligue 1 games.
After failing to sign Kylian Mbappe from PSG, Madrid used that cash to add Tchouameni to their deep midfield, with Kroos, Modric, Casemiro, Camavinga and Fede Valverde also at the club.
