Real Betis' reasons for Dani Ceballos' departure to Real Madrid

Real Betis president Angel Haro has explained the reasons why Dani Ceballos is set to sign for Real Madrid. Haro made the comments during the presentation of Catalan defender Jordi Amat, confirming Ceballos has an agreement with Madrid but adding that nothing has yet been finalised. 

"Dani has rejected the offer from Betis. There's an agreement with Madrid and in the coming hours we will talk about everything -- it should be resolved in the coming days or hours," the Betis presdient said in Montecastillo, whil Ceballos is said to be in Madrid finalising his deal with Los Blancos. 

Angel Haro says Ceballos not signing a new deal with Betis is "not a failure on our part. If you make an offer to the player, he has a clause and another club pays that, or more, you cannot do anything.... No player is irreplaceable at Betis, not even the president." 

In this sense, the Betis president insisted that "life goes on, other players will come, and we can say that nobody is irreplaceable."
