Raphael Varane: We were not well positioned
The French defender lamented the 3-0 thrashng by Eibar on Saturday
Real Madrid's French centre-back Raphael Varane lamented the 3-0 pounding his team endured at the hands of Eibar.
"Collectively were not good," said Varane. "Eibar played their game, it was hard, we lost the battles and that was difficult. We could not get out of their press.
"We did not find solutions, we could not play our football, we were not comfortable. We have the qualiry to play, but collectively we were not good. We weren't well positioned and we didn't win the second balls.
"We have to improve htis aspect to win more games. We were in good form, we have to try and win again."
