What PSG might do to try and keep Kylian Mbappe

The French striker is poised to join Real Madrid but the situation could be changing

PSG are willing to do whatever they can to keep Kylian Mbappe. His contract is up in June and Real Madrid are front runners to sign him.

L’Equipe says he wants to be the star of the club and that means stopping playing on the left, right or middle depending on whether Neymar and Messi are available. PSG also have said that could take penalties.

They say that the signing last summer were not the sort Mbappe wanted to create a competitive team. Sergio Ramos, for example, has not been much use and the club might pledge to sell him this summer if it could keep Mbappe.

He also doubts the club’s ability to install order in the dressing room, making sure big names turn up on time and so on. He would like more professionalism.

PSG could offer him a 25m euro renewal fee to keep him, plus a huge new contract.
