Palacios confesses that his move to Real Madrid is imminent
The Argentine admits that his transfer to the Spanish giants could be completed in the next few days
River Plate's central midfielder, Exequiel Palacios, has said this Tuesday "there's a good chance" he will sign for Real Madrid in the next few days.
"It's difficult to not get carried away by what everyone is saying on social media, talking about (a move to) Real Madrid. It's important to remain calm and take things one day at a time," Palacios told ESPN from River's preseason training camp in Uruguay.
"You begin to reflect and think about how big of a club Real Madrid are. And there's a good chance that you could go there," added the 20-year-old midfielder.
Palacios admits that his transfer could happen soon but assures everyone that for now his mind is focused on River.
"My friends at River ask that I keep living here. My family respect my decision and will always go with me."
