OFFICIAL: Vinicius Junior signs for Real Madrid from Flamengo
Both sides have agreed a deal for the striker who costs 45 million euros
He will move to Madrid officially in 2018, when he turns 18 years old
Real Madrid have announced their deal to sign Vinicius Junior from Flamengo.
The 16-year-old Brazilian had been wanted by Barcelona but Madrid pipped them to the deal.
Los Blancos published a statement reading: “Real Madrid and Clube de Regatas do Flamengo have reached an agreement regarding the transfer of the federative rights of the player Vinicius Junior from July 2018.
“The player will remain at his current club until July 2019, although he will be able to play for Real Madrid before then if both clubs agree to it.”
Reports suggest Madrid will pay 30 million euros with 15 in installments.
