Zinedine Zidane can't assure James Rodriguez of more minutes but tells the Colombian that he is important at the club
Zinedine Zidane responded to James Rodriguez's cry that he wants to play more with a curious message, saying that he "hopes" the Colombian will feature more.
Zidane said: “Every player is special. I try to show the group that everyone is important. James is playing less, but he's an important player. He helps us and I know he wants to play more, they all do, but I pick the team thinking about each match.
"Everyone is entitled to their opinion but I have no more to say about it. I hope he gets more playing time, that's all."
James had complained on Colombian Radio, saying: "I want to play more. Here there's someone who's always in charge. He is the one who says who plays and who doesn't play. You have to respect that."
