Michel's the alternative to the 'galacticos' for Real Madrid job
The former Madrid player has emerged as Florentino Perez's Plan B
Former Real Madrid player Michel has emerged as the alternative option to take over from Zinedine Zidane on the Santiago Bernabeu bench.
Michel, a club legend, is an option being considered by Florentino Perez after Los Blancos' president failed to land a number of other 'big name' targets.
According to Cadena COPE, Michel is Plan B for Perez, following problems in appointing the likes of Mauricio Pochettino, Antonio Conte and Jurgen Klopp -- three 'galactico' coaches that have resisted Madrid.
In Michel's favour is the fact he knows Madrid well, given the amount of time he has previously spent at the club.
However, working against him is the job he did at Malaga recently, where he was sacked with the side bottom of the table before they were relegated from La Liga.
