The Juventus coach is open to a move to the Spanish capital

If Real Madrid cannot get their first choice coach to replace Zinedine Zidane, which is Tottenham coach Mauricio Pochettino, they will move for Massimiliano Allegri.

The Italian coach, currently in charge of Juventus, is a safe bet for Madrid. If there is one thing Pochettino lacks it would be big game experience. Allegri is more than covered on that front. He has won five leagues and four cups with the Old Lady, who also reached the 2015 and 2017 Champions League finals, losing both to Barcelona and Madrid respectively.

In this year's tournament Juve were knocked out by Madrid but it was a very close affair.

It's not the first time he's been linked to the Madrid bench, although he's always been done so as an alternative rather than the favourite. He has a contract until 2020 and wouldn't be easy to pry away from Juve unless Madrid stump up big money.
