Mariano called up by Real Madrid, Vinicius Jr left out
The Brazilian will be playing with the reserve team again after Lopetegui ignored him
Real Madrid's new signing Mariano Diaz is in Julen Lopetegui's squad for the game against Leganes on Saturday night at the Santiago Bernabeu, with Vinicius Jr left out again - to play with RM Castilla, the B team.
Mariano was presented on Friday after joining from Lyon and will go straight into action. However Vinicius, who cost 40 million euros, does not seem to be needed by Lopetegui.
Also left out for now are Jesús Vallejo through injury, plus Álvaro Odriozola, Reguilón and Fede Valverde.
