The midfielder has an agreement with Atleti but Madrid want him to go elsewhere

Real Madrid midfielder Marcos Llorente wants to join the list of players that have played for both of the big clubs in the Spanish capital.

Aware that he does not feature in Zinedine Zidane's plans, the youngster is analysing the offers he has on the table, but there's a clear favourite. Llorente wants to join Atletico Madrid.

The problem for the Madrid player is that Los Blancos would prefer to sell him to someone else, so are making it hard for Atletico to do a deal.

Llorente has accepted Atletico's offer. Diego Simeone has convinced him that he will cover the loss of Rodri, who will leave for either Manchester City of Bayern Munich soon.

But the contact between the two clubs has not led to an agreement. Madrid aren't demanding his 200 million euro release clause but do want 50 million euros for the midfielder.

According to ABC, Atletico's offer is around 40 million euros. Madrid would prefer to sell him to another club -- with interest from other La Liga clubs and also from the Premier League.
