Madrid's Nacho in tears after being forced off injured for first time

Real Madrid defender Nacho featured in some of the saddest images of his side's win against Las Palmas on Saturday. 

Nacho was taken off in the first half after getting injured and was seen on the bench in tears. It's an image which will have resonated with the club's supporters, even though there's still no news about how long the player is set to be sidelined for. 

It was Nacho himself who asked for the change after coming off worst when competing for the ball with Las Palmas' Galvez. Achraf was the player who took his place in the 29th minute of the game in Gran Canaria. 

Nacho was devastated. With the Juventus game around the corner on Tuesday, there's a real chance he will not be available for the Champions League quarterfinal first leg game. 

He has never before been injured as a professional. At half-time, he limped back to the dressing room in conversation with Madrid's medical staff.
