Madrid close in on Camavinga after Mbappe negotiations hit brick wall

Real Madrid's negotiations to sign Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain have stalled but they are set to close another signing.

The player they're set to sign is also French, young, with huge potential and in the last year of his contract. Madrid are close to completing a deal for Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga worth around 30 million euros.

According to Fabrizio Romano, both clubs have reached an agreement and the player has already passed his medical, with an official announcement expected later on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, sources at Real Madrid confirmed to El Larguero that they were negotiating to sign the 18-year-old before the transfer window closes.
