The Madrid president said he spoke to Alves in a corridor
Florentino Perez, Real Madrid president, was a happy man at FIFA's The Best awards ceremony in London. Five of his team were named in the best XI while Cristiano Ronaldo took the top prize.
Perez spoke to Onda Cero radio station, mentioning a conversation he had with Dani Alves, after the awards ceremony. The Madrid chief said Alves should have played at Madrid and the defender said he never got a call.
"I encountered him in a corridor and as always, he was very friendly, we joked a bit," said Perez. "I told him he should have played for Madrid and he told me that I didn't call him."
