Luka Modric: Isco is a great player but the coach will decide

Luka Modric spoke in the press conference ahead of Real Madrid's clash with Juventus and was asked about Isco.

He was forced to discuss the hot topic over who should start, the Spaniard or Gareth Bale.

"Let's see how the coach plays it. What I will say about Isco is that he's a terrific player, he's really important to us and that's all there is to say, but the coach is the one who will ultimately make the decision,” said Modric, sitting on the fence.

“It's good when others talk in positive terms about you and the team. It proves that they respect us, just as we respect them. They're a fine side and have.”
