Lopetegui, while in the process of putting together his coaching stuff, would like to retain the services of two men who worked under Zidane

Real Madrid's new head coach, Julen Lopetegui, is in the process of putting together his coaching staff at the club. Lopetegui has thought about two men who worked under his predecessor, Zindedine Zidane, as possible options for his own group. Antonio Pintus, the head physio, and Luis Llopis, the goalkeeper coach, are the men in question according to 'El Confidencial'.

This is because the work of the two specialists has produced good results at Real Madrid over the last few years and Lopetegui doesn't want to lose them. Both are seen as key members of staff during the recent Champions League successes. Pintus arrived at Madrid alongside Zidane after the two originally met at Juventus. The physio moved to Lyon and that's where Madrid signed him from.

As for Llopis, how he works with the goalkeepers is valued by everyone at the club. He's been given a lot of credit for the way Keylor Navas has performed at Real Madrid.

For these reasons, Lopetegui wants both of them to form part of his own coaching staff.
