Julen Lopetegui has decided to take a big squad with him for Real Madrid's preseason tour

Real Madrid's first team squad is already on its way to the United States. They're currently on a flight headed to Miami, the first destination for Madrid on their preseason tour. Florentino Perez has also boarded the plane which is expected to land late Saturday night, 2AM Spanish time.

The team, led by new coach Julen Lopetegui, will continue their preparation on American soil as they have five titles up for grabs next season. During the tour, Real Madrid will participate once again in the International Champions Cup tournament and face off against Manchester United, Juventus and Roma. Their first match will take place on Thursday morning (2AM Spanish time).

Lopetegui has decided to take almost everybody available to him - all 32 of them! The group is made up of those who started preseason training as well as some returning members who were involved at the World Cup. Isco was the last player who returned to Madrid ahead of the tour but they'll meet up with Sergio Ramos and Keylor Navas in the US.

Theo Hernandez, linked with a move to Real Sociedad, is included in the travelling party alongside Asensio, Lucas, Nacho and Kroos. The only players who remain on holiday are the two Brazilians Marcelo and Casemiro, the Croatian pair Modric and Kovacic as well as World Cup winner Raphael Varane. They will return to training after having a four week break.
