Levante's Doukoure clarifies messages and calls from Real Madrid after injury
Madrid have been in touch with Doukoure to check on him after Sunday's events
Levante's Cheick Doukoure has confirmed that Real Madrid and Casemiro have been in touch after he injured his cruciate against Los Blancos on Sunday.
Doukoure sustained the knock when he swiped thin air, which was given as a penalty in Madrid's favour as Casemiro took a tumble.
Reports emerged that Doukoure had said there had been no wishes sent his way from Madrid but the club came out to deny that.
The Levante player has since posted on social media to clear things up.
Doukoure wrote: "I want to clarify what you can see in the video. I respond no when asked if Casemiro's phoned me. I want to add that a Madrid representative showed interes in me on Monday, through our president, and afterwards Emiliio Butragueño called me."

Around an hour later, Doukoure added: "In addition, I want to add that a few minutes ago Casemiro also called me. Even though he has nothing to do with my injury, I appreciate the gesture. I want to thank everyone who's worried about me."
