Florentino Perez will have a year to land the man the fans most want

Due to the situation at Real Madrid, there are a huge amount of players being linked with a move to the Bernabeu to help them improve their performances on the pitch next season.

Who will they eventually sign as they look to lift the gloom? That's the big question being asked by Madrid supporters at the moment.

Los Blancos want a new hero. Despite the ease of which they could sign Eden Hazard, who's stalling on signing a new deal with Chelsea, Kylian Mbappe's the one they really want.

According to Le Parisien, there could be a date for signing Mbappe now. The cost of the player, the short time he's spent with Paris Saint-Germain so far and his age are factors which are influencing the operation. For that reason, Mbappe will not be able to join Madrid until next summer, in 2020.

As revealed by SPORT, Madrid will try to reduce the cost of Mbappe by offering James Rodriguez and Isco to PSG. The figure of 280 million euros would be a world record fee -- but it's too much to take on in 2019.

The French media are biting their nails because the arrival of Zinedine Zidane back on the Bernabeu bench could tempt Mbappe to move to Madrid. Florentino Perez will have a year to work on the deal which the fans most want.
