Jugones: Real Madrid abandon Luka Jovic deal
Eintracht want 100 million euros for the Serbian forward
La Sexta programme Jugones say that Real Madrid have given up on Eintracht Frankfurt forward Luka Jovic. The German club are said to be asking for too high a figure for the forward - 100 million euros. That is more than president Florentino Perez is willing to pay for a player who has not yet got good enough to be worth that figure.
Jugones say that Madrid's 'no' opens the door for Barca to sign the striker. The Serbian has many suitors and Barca have been to watch him play before, with some comparing him to Luis Suarez.
Eintracht executed the option to buy they have on the forward who was on loan from Benfica, paying the Portuguese side 12m euros for Jovic.
