Ancelotti brought him on in the end to avoid any further tension around the squad

Isco's unable to turn his situation around at Real Madrid and on Sunday he starred in another episode that will be scrutinised in the Spanish capital.

According to El Larguero, the midfielder refused to continue warming up as Madrid won 4-1 at Granada this weekend to move top of LaLiga.

"He understood that he was going to come on with Jovic and Camavinga when the three warmed up. They told him he was going to come on later, he got angry and sat back down on the bench," SER revealed.

That was the detonant for Isco, although his coach, Carlo Ancelotti, decided to put fires out and changed his decision, bringing him on with the other two players to avoid problems.

Isco's not been in Madrid's plans for a while and his contract expires in June. In January, he can negotiate with other clubs and it appears a given that his time with Madrid is coming to an end.
