Isco Alarcon spoke to the media at an event organised by Adidas Football, the "Tango League". The Malaga-born midfielder, who was basically unused by Santiago Solari, hopes his situation changed now Zinedine Zidane is back on the bench.
"We all know him. As a player at Madrid he was hugely impressive. As a coach he won everything. It's good news for everyone that he's back at Madrid. It says a lot about him that he came back at such a difficult moment. I hope that he can help us rise to reach the path to victory."
Isco is hopeful of getting back in the side.
"We will try to win the rest of the games. La Liga is very difficult, but we have to get as many points as possible, cutting the distance (on those above us). From today the change is starting for next season."
