Madrid have reached an agreement with the striker but must talk with Spurs

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has finalised the casting for a new striker, choosing Tottenham's Harry Kane at an expected cost of 175 million euros, according to the website Soy Madridsta.

Madrid have spent months negotiating with the company that represents the English forward, Unique Sports Management, and the agreement is in place.

Kane has given the thumbs up to the deal and it's expected that talks will begin between the two clubs soon.

According to the reports, Kane has even told his Tottenham teammates that he will leave in the summer to play at the Santiago Bernabeu.

With an agreement in place with Kane, Perez has put a lid, for now, on other options which were on the table, including Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski and Chelsea's Eden Hazard.

Madrid will make contact with Spurs but know that it won't be easy given how previous negotiations went when doing deals for Gareth Bale and Luka Modric.

The number Madrid have in their head is 175 million euros, although the inclusion of Bale would reduce that fee to around 75 million euros.

Kane has a contract until 2022, although Spurs have been trying to get him to sign a new, improved deal.
